OBJECTIVE: With the overarching theme of enhancing health care opportunities, accessibility, and quality for the Panhandle of Nebraska, the Nebraska Panhandle Area Health Education Center, Inc. fulfills this mission through the following goals:
1. Working in partnership with regional entities, recruit rural students into health care career fields
2. Through enhanced professional development and dialogue, retain health care professionals within the Panhandle of Nebraska
3. In collaboration with regional partners, assess health care needs, demands, and services in the Panhandle of Nebraska and facilitate the development of activities or opportunities to fulfill those deficiencies.
4. The Nebraska Panhandle Area Health Education Center, Inc. recognizes health care to be inclusive of physical and behavioral health, extending from pre-natal to geriatric life stages.
